What this does to women all across the U.S. is lethal. Today the media influences women all over the US, forcing them to be insecure about their body image through the use of advertising, television shows, and celebrities.' This media influence may focus on appearance but evolves into a pervasive insecurity in women's lives, shaping their choices, their lives, and our world.
