Who is lying about profits from pushing Gas Prices?

Most of the price of gas comes from taxes, local and federal. And the people who approve those taxes are your legislators (i.e. congressmen, state and federal). Write them letters and tell them to lower the taxes on gasoline. More money goes towards those taxes than goes just to profit for the gas companies.
