Advice on honor's society Phi Theta Kappa?

I received a membership letter for the Phi Theta Kappa honors society and was wanted to know if anyone knows anything about it. I read a little online but am not familiar with these societies. Does it look good on you transcript to be in a society. i heard it did. i also read ont heir website that it will be fulfilling and help me grow as a leader. Does it really help with job opportunities in the future. what do you guys think? I just want some opinions b/c i have no idea what to do!
