Is it me, or is anyone bothered by 'text' writing?

Used in a text message it doesn’t bother me. There are legitimate reasons people type that way in a text message. But used in *anything* other than a text message (like a posting on here), it irritates the h*ll out of me. In that case it is nothing but pure laziness. Normally, I won’t even try to decipher that mess.
