Deadly Hit and Run? How would cops catch the D-Bag?

I am sorry for your loss. I have investigated a number of fatal accidents and the hit and run is the worst. If the person is found they may face a homicide by motor vehicle or manslaughter by motor vehicle charge. In most places this does not carry a life sentence because it stems from a motor vehicle "accident". If intent can be proven then a homicide charge can be placed. To be honest, unless the police have a good witness or conclusive physical evidence the chance of apprehending the subject is poor. Yes, I think you should talk to someone you know and respect. They could help you work through your feelings of loss, anger and frustration. Some people talk at length with their minister, priest or rabbi. They have training in bereavement counseling and could help. If there is no one like that available to you the yes professional counseling would help a great deal. Remember what God promises. "Revenge is mine, sayeth the lord, I will repay". I have lived a long time and have seen much violence, destruction, murder and mayhem. Believe me, the person who killed Tony will be forever punished by his conscience in this life and by God beyond. Some even commit suicide. Do not worry that you will not be there to see it, the punishment will happen.
